Thursday panelist: Dr. Jayant "JP" Parthasarathy provides technical and strategic direction in businesses relating to connectivity and eHealth at Nonin Medical where his work has yielded several patents Dr. Parthasarathy leads the guidelines and specificationsdevelopment of the Continua Health Alliance.
Mike Hayes has worked as a plasma physicist, designed silicon wafer etch processes, managed the building of spacecraft, operated a suite of research vessels and antarctic field stations, and led a variety of developments in audio signal processing and wireless communications, prior to developing his current interest in wireless medical devices.
Dr. Roozbeh Jafari is currently an assistant professor in Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas and director of ESSP Lab. His research is primarily in the area of networked embedded system design and reconfigurable computing with emphasis on medical/biological applications, their signal processing and algorithm design.
